Bio

I have always been an active person, having tried every sport that was introduced to me. My main activity was cheerleading, having cheered for a total of 10 years, spending the last 3 of them on the Eskimos Cheer Team. I have also participated in two fitness competitions, one in Calgary, and the other in the Caymans Islands. My infatuation with yoga began in 2003 while I was living in the Cayman Islands. I started for all the physical benefits I heard about, but quickly realized that yoga had much more to offer.

To deepen my knowledge and expand my passion for yoga in 2007 I ventured to Nosara, Costa Rica to study under Don and Amba Stapleton and obtain my certification to teach. In 2009 I returned to Nosara and received my Advanced Teacher Training Certification.

In the last 4 years, I have had the opportunity to teach in many corporations in Edmonton, children’s yoga, yoga retreats, and I am currently also teaching at Healing Connections and Citadel Theatre in Edmonton.

It has brought joy and fulfillment into my life to share and educate others on their journey of yoga. I teach with compassion and enthusiasm, hoping to inspire as many people to start their own journey of self exploration.

Namaste.
